VASPURAKAN - in X century it was an independent Armenian empire disposed around the lake Van situated on southeast of modern Armenia. At present time here you can see fortified walls of old fortress and other construction of Urarty period. Brandy VASPURAKAN has exceptional saturated aroma and dark-gold colour, characteristic to high-quality Armenian brandies. The ageing of eaux-de-vie (water of life) for this brandy is about 18 years old. It was produced in 1980. brandies of Armenia, differs by an original bouquet aroma and pleasant taste. For the high quality on the international tasting and fairs the brandy of “Вaspurakan” is awarded 4 gold, 3 silvers medals and honoured diplomas (Zolotye-Яlta-1995, Yerevan-1997, Yalta-1998, Yerevan-2000; serebryanye is Saint Petersburg-1996, Saint Petersburg-1997, Sochi-1999). Name is contribution of memory to the major cultural and political center of historical Armenia - Вaspurakanu.
